In 1980 he began working freelance treating small animals. From 1989, teacher and lecturer at AO-ASIF courses. From 1993 to 1995, he graduated and attended the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institutes. Training at Zurich University in 1999, at the North Carolina State University 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, the clinic of Dr. Aldo Vezzoni from 1999 to 2004. Lecturer at numerous national courses and congresses. Author and co-author of publications in: American Journal of Veterinary Research (AJVR), Journal of Small Animal Practice (JSAP). Coordinating Vet for the SCIVAV orthopaedic society (currently SIOVET) from 1998 to 2001. SCIVAC president from 2001 to 2004. PhD in Veterinary Science with dissertation on total hip prosthesis in dogs, obtained from Padua University in 2008. Member of ESVOT, SIOVET, IEWG, VOS.
