Dr. Andrea Toson graduated in veterinary medicine from Padua University. In the course of his last two years of study, he worked every day as an intern student in the veterinary clinical science department within the faculty, focusing in particular on veterinary neurology, assisting Prof. Marco Bernardini in his everyday specialised clinical activities.
After graduating, for a short time he worked in the neurology operating unit of the “I Portoni Rossi” Veterinary Hospital in Zola Predosa, near Bologna, after which he went to Turin where he began working in the neurology-neurosurgery department and A&E department of the “Anubi” Veterinary Hospital in Moncalieri Torino. From 2012 to 2014 he focused on neurology, neurosurgery and internal medicine in the Baroni Veterinary Clinic in Rovigo and, at the same time, began assisting the Bluecenter analysis laboratory in Rovigo, for MRI and CAT examinations.
After working as a freelance with the neurology department at the Roma Sud Veterinary Clinic (manager Dr. Daniele Corlazzoli), he took over the role as manager of the neurology and imaging service at the Bluecenter Portogruaro branch, working with Dr. Edoardo Carlo Rolla on neurological and neurosurgical pathologies.
He is registered with the Italian Veterinary Pet Cultural Society (SCIVAC), with the SCIVAC Specialized Neurology Society (SINVET – Società Italiana di Neurologia Veterinaria) and the Italian Union of Veterinary Societies (UNISVET).
